Local bridge got hit again

This is the first time I’ve heard of the bridges moving when this happens. That’s new for me.

Do they check for this every time on all these bridges? And then have some machine(s) come and push them back into place? That’s both interesting and concerning: doesn’t that mean the bridge has also had its integrity harmed?

Bridgespan usually aren't bolted down, so that it can expand/shrink with the temperatur.
