Not a school bus, just a regular city double decker bus

It's a bus route specifically for a school run for pupils attending said school.
Edited to add I got confused between this bus crash and the other one that's just happened! Can we please stop ramming buses into bridges please

"The force said a 19-year-old woman, and two men, one aged in his 20s and another in his 40s, sustained serious injuries and remain in hospital in a stable condition."
Sounds unlikely mate

Is it? I’m pretty sure it’s not, although I might be wrong.

No mention of it being a school bus in any of the news articles.

No, if you look at the Bee Network for Manchester, you'll see that the school run bus routes have numbers in the high hundreds.

Yes they're run by tfgm and are on the bee network. Technically regular people can get on them but I think that's only when there's confusion

It’s not a school service. The 100 is Warrington to Manchester via Trafford Centre and Salford. I work for the company and have driven the route, it’s never been a school service

It was a canal bridge too! Not something you want to drive into. It’s already very bad, but could have been a lot worse

FWOAK!
Made me chuckle. That said, why does the driver keep driving? Did they not notice?
