What does the Emergency signal mean?

It signals traffic to stop when there is a first responder vehicle coming through (Example: An ambulance)

As a person who uses roads, I appreciate the sensor/lights approach to avoiding can-openers. As a subscrber here, I lament that the post count is going to go down as these/this approach becomes more popular.

Has it claimed any victims yet?

Not that I know of, but it has happened before.

lol these need some noise making chains ahead of them. But that would anticipate drivers who stop when they get loud noises

Man...small world. Looks like 322 South in Downingtown PA...I drive through there all the time.

There's even-lower ones along those tracks too. I've posted the bridge in nearby Frazer on here a while back (IIRC with a Penske stuck under it)...that one's signed 10' 0" but the south side has a steep grade that means it can rip open trucks that are shorter than that...speaking from experience at my second job that rents box trucks.

Don't forget the one at Whitford, we're only 8'-0"

Oh yeah. Just north of Burke Rd...that thing makes an SUV feel like its over height, and some cargo vans are over height.
