It's mostly the bar in front that's claimed a lot of vehicles. Before the bar in front, vehicles have hit it.

Bar sounds like a great idea. Why isn't it standard design - any engineers here that can shed light?

I only know that any high top vans, pickup trucks with trailers and maintenance pickups hit the beam.
