We are REALLY taking a slow period. I'm not a figurehead of industrious hard work, but I get up every morning at 5 to get to work and do a full day, I know it's a good joke that I like siestas etc but even by my standards, we have gotten lazy. We are the master civilisational hub, used to be other places would invent stuff, like china with gunpowder, and we would see it, envision it's true potential and use that power to climb atop the corpse pile to plant our flags. Now we make safe places for people's feelings. I know we were headed that way but look what it has done to us. We have become purple haired people pleasers. They used to tell horror stories about us across every other continent! Now we are where their dictatorial ruling classes invest for a property portfolio.
