Not denying we got a problem with violent crime, but do you want to know why we have more gang related shootings in Sweden than in Italy? In Sweden you have small gangs constantly fighting turf wars. In Italy you have this.
How do they take this into account in the crime data? And do you really prefer this to small unorganized gangs of friends representing their subway station?
