Bullet ant. As the insect. You know, the ant.

Also, most 'ndrangheta deaths are also basically all involved in this. Not all, of course, just most. Like I guess in Sweden. Just there are less.

Obviously there are less.

My point is that there are other downsides than gun violance to a massive crime syndicate with ties into national politics and private enterprieses. Things that you might not see in "Crime Index".

I mean, I agree there're correlated activities. Luckily not where I live, Sardinia is it's own thing in many aspects. But I interjected about the crude raw murder numbers. Which, to my actual surprise, are higher in Sweden. A sign of change for sure.

Well, with Sweden its sort of reversed in the term of change. This gun violence epidemic peaked at 2022, and since then gun violence have decreased for every year.

A lot have to do with too mild laws. We havent had these kinds of problems before, so our juridical system wasnt prepared for it. Now we have rolled out more and more laws to prevent it, and its slowly starting to have effect.

But there are also other aspects of this. Bombs have increased, and we still have a lot of shootings. So it will take a very long time before its "fixed". But the change seems to be going in the positive direction.

I wish this won't shift population to the far right. Because that's what often happens.

The shift to the far right, although a relatively mild version, already happened. But it is mostly because of migration. Every other party was afraid to talk about it, but they talked about it, and now they have around 20 % of the votes.

But they have sort of been triangulated in the sense that there is a pretty wide consensus from both left and right what to do. "Harder on crime, regulated migration, etc".

At the same time the Sweden Democrats are doing everything that they can to go in the opposite direction and become normalised, to get minister posts. So when it comes to the traditional far right questions (migration and crime) there is basically no conflict in Sweden.

That's good.

While I'm on the left side of politics, I wish our own left parties would acknowledge problems and tackle them frontally. The lateral approach lost them heaps of votes and got the right elected.

Yeah, and they have 4 of them. I'm with you on this one. What has happened in Sweden isn't good, but these organised crime groups in Italy have caused untold damage to the country on so many levels for generations now.
