Name this part

Hey guys! What’s this part called? I know it’ll be hard to find to begin with but not even knowing the name is driving me nuts

the FSM refers to it as the license plate assembly, ive also seen it called license plate light bezel

On a 5th gen they call it a tailgate shroud. I have both a 1st and 5th gen and I don't know the official part number on either.

Get an exploded diagram of the tailgate for your year and get the part number. Then start looking for that part number.

Much easier.

Tailgate bezel. Mine was broke. After about a year of searching I found a guy on Facebook marketplace parting out 1st Gen and I got a pretty nice one from him for $25
