That’s not what a leftist is. A leftist is someone who is an anti-capitalist. Leftist and liberals are not interchangeable. Although we do have causes we will align on, ultimately there is a fundamental difference on how we get there. Personally, I’m a socialist. I will fight along side liberals and with anyone else who fights against fascism, racism, ICE, genocide, homophobia, ect. But I won’t blindly support those in power that are actively fighting to uphold capitalism in a way that goes against the things I’m fighting for.
