I like this a lot. It looks and feels ominous, which is exactly the message we should be conveying.

Why do my fellow Americans not view our bipartisan police state as use of military forces against the people?

German POV: Because the people they're used against are labeled "bad". True classic.

This this man, Ken Turner, who is still alive, fought fascism and is fighting it again.

My own parents rolled over at it despite the fact that my uncle and grandfather fought to oppose fascism in their service! I will not fucking bend the knee like them and will defend my rights and my home!

I have seen people call to kidnap and "study" those like me. We need so much more than signs and protest

Protests here in Florida are fewer in number the last month (not as many locations anymore) and they have fewer attendees than before.

One thing I have been thinking about - If you are the type of person where you are at higher risk of being detained by ICE, why not hide out temporarily in an area with a lot of protests? If I had a warrant out for me, I'd probably resurface again in the middle of a riot, then let ICE approach me, surrounded by angry people who hate them. I wouldn't even need to do anything.

Unfortunately I agree. I want to be supportive of the people on our side but what I see in this video is a bunch of people all dressed in black with masks holding signs that say "this is what fascism looks like" while walking around a quaint looking tourist spot with everyone else walking around on a nice day enjoying their weekend.

It just makes us look like a cult throwing the term fascism around and disrupting people going about their day.

"We should be disruptive!!!" To what end? A protest like this is supposed to raise awareness and get people on your side. This kind of disruption just comes off as asocial and craven.

I was the very first person I am aware of anywhere to call the Trump movement fascistic. I don't like the way people throw that word around now. You have to earn it rhetorically. Point to something clear to call fascist. When you're walking around on a calm day with people outside having fun and your sign reads "this is what fascism looks like", people think, "well it looks pretty normal to me, guess fascism isn't that bad or you don't know what it is".
