Discussion Where does “Still Shinin” rank all time amongst Mobb Deep’s best tracks

https://youtu.be/srFasOQkxxU?si=bPpFs_jywalkbzyO

Beat is absolutely disgusting and to me has one of P’s best verses. Personally it’s in my top 3 songs from them ever

Besides the usual list of their top stuff, is this generally considered one of their better if not one of the best songs they’ve made?

Including solo stuff, it’s at the lowest top-5. That beat is on another level.

The GX1000 skate video Roll Up has a segment with Still Shinin and it works so well. Great song, top 10 Mobb Deep songs for my taste

HIGH

Agree about the beat.. it's God-tier. Especially when it switches. The Killa Sin freestyle over that part of the beat is one of my favorites

It’s fantastic it’s just not a single and made by one of the greatest groups ever, so with such great and consistent output things may not get their just due

I have Give Up The Goods at 1 as well, for 2 I think I have Still Shinin or Trife Life. Temperatures Rising is probably in my 4 spot though.

Song is amazing but no way can reach top 5 Shook ones Survival to the fittest Quiet Storm OG ( no lil Kim ) It’s Mine Eye 4 an Eye. Idk the list goes on

It’s better than It’s Mine. The entire Hell On Earth album is top tier though

The problem is they got too many classics to choose from so there’s gonna be bunch of different lists and answers but I will say Hell on Earth is super top tier. Honestly listen to that more than The Infamous at this point

This album is great. One of the best albums in hip hop, according to me.

My favorite is Appostole's Warning, very ruff ending of Hell On Earth masterpiece album
