Most korra haters haven’t seen her show past the first couple episodes. Granted, they are slightly hard watches

I’ve watched it through all the way 3 times cuz I keep trustin yall mfs and thinking “maybe I am being too dramatic, maybe it’s not that bad”. Then that 8 yo comes out bending three elements off bat and my suspension of disbelief is outta here

(Spirit world season I hate with a fiery passion. New spirit world too populated and human like, avatar origin was lame and boring, villain was even more lame and boring) Bolin can do no wrong tho (except for that one time… with what’s her faces daughter (Opal or something). Disappointed in my boy)

idk if i can believe you watched it that many times if you’re confusing toddler korra with an eight year old. an “8 yo” bending like pebbles and wisps of fire and water at that.

What? Past avatars didn’t even try to bend other elements? Everyone else was just twiddling their thumbs till their 16th birthday? Yeah, okay 😒

i pointed out you thought a toddler was an eight year old and you’re making some smart ass comment putting words in my mouth. i think you’re the one that needs to work on your comprehension

You said “bending like pebbles and wisps of Fire and Water” like that’s not bending. Instead of these crazy tests of checking what Aang chose for a toy, they should’ve just asked him to bend water.

Btw, that is a very strong and athletic toddler to be able to do all that, where do you live with such toddlers? Do you know what a toddler is? Dude, if its a toddler, my argument is stronger I don’t care about the specific age of a character in a scene I hate with a passion, point is, she shouldn’t be able to do all that

every avatar is different and learns at different speeds. it’s not like she mastered the elements at thirteen like a certain someone it took her until she was a late teen. avatar yangchen became an airbending master at what, eleven? and a fully realized avatar at the same age as korra. korras gimmick is literally her brute force and strength and how she uses it without the spirit of the avatar in season one. that’s why she couldn’t airbend at all. it’s just a different avatar journey… whole point of another show.

nice moving goalposts though.

FAIR POINT- I still don’t like the three at such a young age. It’s a bit ridiculous to me (I’m sorry I’ve been coming out so hostile I’m genuinely working on it). Like something that would be in the plot of a spoof movie. Or is in the plot of Megamind (actual toddler (is she actually a toddler cuz Jesus she’s got crazy coordination as a toddler))

I really don’t like Korra tho and a lot of the reasons are not the shows fault but it’s still something o can’t get over. They only initially had one season and that’s why the ending of it felt so abrupt to me and all character development was weird throughout the entirety of the show.

that’s fair. the show definitely has its problems (big time) and I understand why anyone wouldn’t enjoy it. sorry for being hostile as well :(
