Question What happen to this diva?
Do someone know what happen ro her, if she's present in the Legend of korra, or if this episode isn't canon?

Zuko really deserved her, just not this version of Zuko.

Mai leaves Zuko in the comics for some dude who's a complete tool

- She hadn’t even met Kei Lo before she broke up with Zuko so you’re objectively wrong.
- They barely lasted that long in smoke and shadow. They literally broke up at the end.
- Ashes of the academy takes place within the same year in which Zuko gives Mai the job as instructor in the academy.
It’s more than likely they get back together

We see a brief shot of her in S3E1 when its explained how Azula and the Dai Li let in Fire Nation troops to occupy the city.
She doesn't appear in LoK.
There's actually a novel that just came out (City of Echoes) that covers her story around the events of this episode. But idk if you want spoilers and i haven't finished the book myself.

Wait, is this the first book outside of the chronicles of the avatar series??? Or are there more?? IM SO OUT OF THE LOOP

Well the first novel yes. Its the first installment on a series focusing on "unsung heroes" of the avatar universe.
Though there have been comics (including graphic novels), novelization/adaptation books, artbooks, and scrapbooks

As a Mai hater, I think this queen deserved to be his wife and more screen time

I mean, I actually like Mai, but see her and Zuko's love being more of a trauma bond with their families dragging them into the war and fire-nation nobility crap.
Jin was a window into growth and possibly beyond what he might leave behind.

They just came out with a new avatar book series where each novel will focus on an unsung hero in the Avatar world and the first one is about Jin. It’s called Avatar Legends: City of Echos by Judy I. Lin if you’re interested!

I don’t think she ever made another appearance.
But I like to think Zuko showed up at Ba Sing Se for a meeting or something and they ran into each other at Iroh’s tea shop (with her admitting she would go there every day hoping he’d show up). They got to talking and decided to go on a date.
Then they eventually got married and had a daughter.

Mai tracked her down after she learned she kissed Zuko.

Ok I’m not sure I hallucinated this or not, but is there not a comic about Zuko & Mai “confronting” Jin somewhere by the fountain? And Mai does the whole knife-throwing apple thing at Jin’s head? And Zuko pretends he doesn’t know her?
It’s supposed to take place before the events of Book 3: Fire. But I can’t recall if it was a fan comic or canon or not.

I saw a funny thing one time, not sure where probably a tiktok Reddit thread video, where it was theorizing that she’s one of Bolins relatives in LoK. Mostly in a “Y’know, when I was your age I went on a date with the firelord.” “That’s nice grandma.” Type of way.

For one why would this episode not be canon, two, why would she be mentioned in korra?? It was just a random interaction so zuko could see the actual damage the war has caused on people. Not every single person that they came in contact with has to be mentioned all the damn time

Loved her she was so cute. Wrote a fanfic where she actually ended up being Mako and Bolin’s grandma to bring her back into the avatar world lol.

I doubt its cannon but I luke the theory that she's Mako and Bolin's Grandmother in LOK

I don't see the resemblance in appearance or personality. Also, it's unlikely that she would be living in such squalor knowing the Fire Lord and being associated with the Jasmine dragon and all.

Is clothing like that supposed to be fairly loose like it shows? Or is she just stacked? Really really not trying to be wierd here....

It is. Its heavily implied she planned to go live in Omashu post-war in the novel. She joined a group which was affiliate to the white lotus and help liberate ba sing se she and her boyfriend liberated the brainwashed girls.
