Art It's been 5 years since I handmade an appa keychain, I changed his look and colors and hopefully you like him better!
I used to love making Appa but I got too busy with work :( I've been wanting to get back into this hobby and decided to "revamp" his look. He's handmade using polymer clay and acrylic paint, and glossed with UV resin!
Which one do you like better?

Discussion Unpopular opinion about the Earth Generals:
I would like the outfit the Earth Generals wear... if it wasn't by the fact that they're barefoot.
Some of you will kill me because of what I'm saying but... the Earth Generals' lack of footwear makes them look so dumb.
"They're barefoot because they need to connect with earth, and that way, earthbend easier! You dumbass!"
So what. Like, Bruh, they're really vulnerable. What if any of these generals step on something sharp? Or a hot terrain? What if they step on glass or legos? And what if someone could just step on their feet? I didn't even mention how the Fire Nation soldiers could burn their feet, or at least tickle their soles.
Bruh, these Earth Generals are so dumb that they choose to walk barefoot in spite of all the drawbacks. No wonder why Azula could invade Ba Sing Se so easily.

Discussion What did Azula gain by bringing Zuko back to the Fire Nation?
Discussion Am I the only one who thinks the final fight between aang and the fire lord was absolutely disappointing?
I was so sad because aang spent 90% of the fight dodging and getting his ass kicked and when he had the opportunity to end it with a redirect lightning he just threw it in the sky it’s absurd. The other two final fights were awesome zuko and katara vs azula and zokka toph and suki vs all the airships were both epic and awesome. Aangs fight was so underwhelming plus I think the energy bending is absolute bullshit it didn’t make sense

Discussion Why doesn’t the Fire Nation use firearms?
What always confused me about the entire Hundred-years war is that the Fire Nation, an empire capable of producing tanks, war zeppelins and gigantic war machines such as the Dreadnoughts and the Drill, is not using what might seem primitive in comparison with said inventions: rifles and cannons.
One might say: “Bending is superior to a rifle”. Yes and no, actually. Indeed, an Earthbender will destroy a singular trooper in a 1v1. But when you have 10 rifles against one bender, the situation goes different. And the rifles will always have superiority in numbers. It must take a while to train a single fire bender — he is not just a soldier, but also a martial artist with the ability to bend at the same time. An average professional Redcoat of the 18th-19th centuries took a maximum of 18 months to train (usually it was even faster). Considering Fire Nation’s doctrine of throwing waves and waves of cannon fodder at the enemy positions — having riflemen (who can be easily conscripted in colossal numbers) is a great option, unlike the regular helpless spearmen seen in the show, who seem unable to get to an Earthbender before getting crushed. Not to mention, if the Fire Nation knows how to make tracks for the tanks and difficult mechanism, they’d likely be able to create a rifled barrel — increasing distance, accuracy and deadliness of their firearms. Granting cover and reliable support to the allied firebenders.
Absence of cannons also seems like a missed opportunity. Siege artillery would work much better in storming Ba Sing Se than medieval catapults, for example. If they are aware of fireworks, why avoid using a similar technology in military purposes? Finally, why not put a cannon into a tank’s turret, increasing every single parameter of the said war machine? Not to mention how much the dreadnoughts would benefit if the catapults got replaced by proper artillery.

Art RA Poster Board/Doordecs! (Complete)
I posted progress on this project before but here it is completely finished and hung up! (Not posting the nametags with my residents names written on them) The memes in the last slides are what I hung up in the communal bathroom.

Question Anyone have an idea where I can find something similar with atla music embedded? (Avatar's love lullaby)
I can swear I've seen it somewhere a while back. As my hubby and me are expecting our first, I'd just looove to have the music box with the mobile crib addition. If anyone has any idea please let me know 💕🤗.

Information Does anyone know where I can find a momo costume for my toddler?
Hey everyone! I’m already plotting my and my will be 18 month old’s Halloween costumes. Was considering dressing as Katara and having my toddler be Momo. I’ve seen pictures of toddlers dressed as Momo online but can’t seem to find the costume anywhere. Would appreciate any help in finding one! Thanks

Art Leaves From The Vine, Part 2 (My fan song that incorporates the original lyrics & melody)
For those who are interested, this song was supposed to come out weeks ago, but upon listening to it I decided it wasn't good enough.
Fast forward about a month, I had re-recorded all the elements because I felt that my original version didn't capture the emotion I was trying to convey.
I hope I've done Uncle Iroh, Mako & Greg Baldwin, as well as the whole fandom, proud with this song.

Question I want to get my little brother into atla, how would you go about this?
My younger brother (14) is learning english. He's pretty good and I work with him on it a lot. I learned myself mostly by consuming english media when i was around his age and level. One of my favourite series of all time is atla and I originally watched it in my first language when i was 6 so I have a lot sentiment for it and regularly rewatch the whole thing skipping maybe five episodes here and there.
My brother is much less interested in watching tv shows but is willing to do it to spend time together. I figured that watching something fun in english will help with getting fluent.
I'm a bit conflicted whether we should watch the whole thing from the beginning (what if it gets too long to be interesting for him, he will get bored and the show will become a chore) or maybe just show him my favourite/universally loved episodes (what if it gets too confusing without the context? he will have no emotional reactions towards the characters and if he ends up wanting to watch the whole thing it will be spoiled)
What do you think? I'm leaning towards making him sit thru the full thing and praying it lands but would love what everyone else thinks about this :)

Art she just knew too much...
not sure how to flair it, as this isn't traditional art, but i made this a few years ago in my fancam days as a tribute to my favorite character. i've always loved azula, i guess i just really relate to a youngest daughter who slowly goes insane over her parents expectations. hope you enjoy
