Looks like her priority was to get a good camera angle immediately after the crash

u/Gr00mpa 5d ago
That’s the social media generation in a nutshell. Content trumps all.

Is there a “flip the car” challenge that I’m not aware of?
1
u/LiveLearnCoach 4d ago
Or is there some place that rents out a rig that simulates this, the same way that “influencers” can fly in private airplanes that are just low budget film studios.

I doubt this is a real crash. There is another video that was similar to this where they showed how it was made afterwards.

I don't know if this is what OP talks about, but there's this version

u/Idunnosomeguy2 5d ago
Huh, that's a really cool trick. People can be downright devious in how to make videos like this.

u/NotReallyJohnDoe 4d ago
If you can make money doing genuine thing X, someone will always figure a way to cheat and look like X with less effort. That’s capitalism in a nutshell.

It's been ages but it's a lady driving and the car gets flipped over a few times I think. Saw the first video and thought it was real then a few days or weeks later I saw the post showing how it was made. Tried to find it again but there is a lot of results for made up greenscreen car crashes apparently.

Airbags only deploy with sudden deceleration, like if you hit something hard. Looks like she just rolled.

Honestly, first thing I would look for is also my phone. Not to film, but to call 911. So I would HOPE that's what she was doing.

Gotta pay for the damage somehow. Insurance probably isn’t going to cover it.

Actually, since the video is fake and uses believable special effects, I disagree.

Yeah airbags not popping after an hit like that and the position of the car at the end? It’s fake. Also when she pull the phone back in the car from the outside she seems to pull it immediately inside from the charging cable trough the window opening and closing Also also, gravity took a break that day

It's time to ban this tiktok shit
9
u/Malapple 4d ago
We will ban it! We must ban it!
What? One of my donors also has a lot invested in TikTok? Nevermind. We won’t ban it.
3
u/Mad-chuska 5d ago
Yep, cuz it’s not like a video sharing platform isn’t easily duplicated were TikTok to be banned. TikTok is definitely the problem, not the morons who perpetuate this idiotic behavior.
6
u/BetrayerOfOnion 4d ago
Do you also claim tiktok doesnt encourages this kind of content?
-1
u/Mad-chuska 4d ago
I’m not sure if they do. I’m interested to learn how they do, if they do, though.
4
u/BetrayerOfOnion 4d ago
Usually not filtering content is enough, that's how we got 4chan. tiktok is the same but worse with more advanced tech and chinise spyware used on children
-19
u/SteamerTheBeemer 5d ago
Yeah let’s ban everything, good plan. Let’s not worry that this video is fake.

u/Honey-and-Venom 5d ago
Everybody has had years to do it themselves. Since they clearly haven't, more extreme measures are clearly required
-6
u/SteamerTheBeemer 5d ago
Everyone has had years to do what? lol what do you want banned again? I’m confused…
1
u/Honey-and-Venom 4d ago
To stop using these platforms (like TikTok or Facebook) of their own volition, but still they persist. Just like we had to pass laws not to drive drunk, or to mandate seatbelt use. People COULD have just chosen to do the right thing, but ultimately just couldn't be counted on to make good decisions for themselves and others, and legislation was required.

She can't be blamed.
How was she supposed to know that something wasn't right here?

u/Maxfang72 5d ago
She wanted to be famous.... Well now she is. Not for anything positive though, although I don't think she'll care.

Listening without sound i thought she was expressing extreme distress... what the FUCK was that rendition?
2
u/countessofole 4d ago
You made me have to go back and rewatch it with sound, cause I, too, thought she was having a Tiktok Tantrum.
2
u/StationaryTravels 4d ago
I was listening with sound, and then I put it back 2 more times, and I still couldn't figure out if she was singing Brittany or rage screaming.

u/meowmix778 4d ago
There was a moment after the crash where this person decided to post this video and not delete it.
People are so obsessed with going viral they post their crimes online without a second thought.

100% fake
- she isn’t driving so fast to literally take flight.
- the car at the first tilt on the grass is 90 degrees on the right with all the items in the car not flying around , we see the air freshener just tilt a little
- with a 90 degrees tilt on the right she hit something so hard that the car does a 180 flip to the left with no broken glasses no objects moving a no stop in momentum but when the car hit the ground again then gravity remember it exists
- no airbags popping with a hit like that
- when the car at the end has stopped she manage to take the phone that’s outside the car from the inside, basically staying still and even if the car is hovering above the ground and the phone doesn’t seem attached to anything
- oh also the car is hovering above ground, upside down and fully on one side, at the same time

This proves right-side drive is dangerous
2
u/Chrispy0074 5d ago
What? Because she's driving on the right side of the road? Or are you saying because her steering wheel is on the right (which it isn't because the image is flipped)
-4
u/Prudent_Payment_3877 5d ago
For real, I would visit all of the UK if I could, without ever sitting in the driver's seat
-2
u/Challengeyoureself 4d ago
Yeah she wrecked from reckless behavior but when it got serious.. she handled that incredibly well. Most people dont know how to steer into the drift like that! She got serious and stayed calm! Props!

For a second there she was pulling an absolutely sick drift.
