Driving home from a 10K in Central Park, the vehicle in front of me kicked that metal slab up in the air. It hit my hood, bounced up into and through my windshield, up into the mesh and soft top roof, and then landed between the driver side door and seat.

Only reason it didn't hit me was I sorta saw it briefly when it popped out from underneath the vehicle in front of me and ducked to the right. Pretty sure it would've hit me in the head/face if I had not moved.

Grown from seed this summer. The head weighs 2.8 pounds🤪

They’re gonna need a bigger boat

Scarboard is an mature female great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) who is around 5.5m (18') in length and is one of the largest white sharks regularly documented at Isla de Guadalupe. While there are multiple individuals who regularly visit the island that are similar in length to Scarboard, her girth seems to be larger than most of her counterparts of similar length.
