Validation AITA for sending my sisters emergency insulin delivery back to sender?
I (34M) am getting married in the beginning of September. I was upfront with the rules of the wedding. Basic things like dress code, food information, top hat ordering information as they were mandatory. But one of the most important stipulations I had was: No package delivery. I didn’t want a delivery guy to show up on the property before my wedding and kill my vibe. My sister flew in from across the country and is a wicked diabetic because she can’t control her cravings. She was here for about a week and ran out of insulin. I instructed her that if she needed to order more, she is to have it delivered at the nearest post office 20 miles away. Well lo and behold the day before the wedding I see one of those ugly brown box trucks coming down the road. The creature driving the truck put the package by the mailbox. I could see my sister heading that way so I sprinted before she could get there. She starts being dramatic and screaming about how she needs this package or she will die. My vibe is already ruined. I sprint for the package, pick it up, and sprint after the UPS man. I catch him quickly and run along side him. I yell out “Return to sender!” And launch the package into his open door. I immediately return and tell my sister I am seriously considering cutting her out of the wedding but she was making it all about her as always and said she didn’t want to be in the wedding and stormed inside the house. She has been crying all day but now she is not responsive and pretending she is weak.
Anyway AITA?
