I am a driver, and I’d like to let you know a few things. First of all, I am one of the drivers that follows instructions, so if you have asked for rear door in the past, I have always abided your ridiculous request because I would get fired otherwise. No other delivery company is required to deliver to the rear or side door, because it is unsafe for everyone involved. I don’t know why amazon finally got rid of it but drivers have been asking for this for years and years. If your front door is a “side door”, it will be delivered there. Now we will just deliver to the most frontward door. If you’re worried about your packages getting stolen, go get your toilet paper at a store like everyone else. We never should have been delivering to your rear door in the first place. Most customers have dogs or bad landscaping that makes rear door delivery dangerous. If you’re on one of our rural routes where the driveway leads to the rear door, the majority of us drivers will still deliver to that rear door. But if you’re living in a suburb or grid system neighborhood, your package will be at the front door. Most drivers aren’t trying to be assholes who can’t follow instructions, but rear door delivery is incredibly unsafe so stop complaining unless your rear door is visible from the street. I will add more to this post if needed. Amazon is a trillion dollar company, so if your package gets stolen or lost, you will always get a refund. I’m done with amazon. Im just tried of getting”new” things but they are used. I got a pair of shoes with stuff all over the bottom but got them as “new”. Then when I complained about it the same day i got it i made a return for the item and because they where heavily used by someone else now they wont refund me and i no longer have the shoes. Like why am i having to pay for an item someone else scammed amazon on. Definitely went to my cc for assistance on this issue. But this has been happening more and more where i think im ordering something new and im receiving used items. This company has gone to shit and only cares about making the rich at the top richer rather than support the people below who are the real ones helping keep them a float with amazon prime and other subscriptions.

I ordered a new PC case, it’s discontinued and there was only one left in stock. It was supposed to arrive the 26th, but unexpectedly it said it was out for delivery the 22nd, but it never arrived. After about a day of saying it was out for delivery it said there was an issue and the product was undeliverable. So I click “problem with order” and it says it’s expected to be delivered the 27th. If I go to UPS tracking it says it’s still out for delivery. When I try to pick any of the options on the problem with order I just get led to dead ends. I also asked support but haven’t gotten a response back yet. Has this happened to anyone else?

Even if I pick Amazon delivery day or prime guarantees, my items ship later and than the new delivery date (usually a day or two later) is “on time”

Kind of annoying cause my last few packages have all done this so what’s the point of choosing a specific day for delivery

We've been with Amazon Prime a very long time. Fortunately, our front porch be has a small wall running across it so packages placed behind it are out of sight unless you're actually standing at the door. This has resulted in zero porch pirate incidents. However, despite my very specific instructions, there are drivers who insist on placing it in front of the door, on the wheelchair ramp(that's a special kind of stupid) and on the sidewalk in front of the wheelchair ramp even though I put a sign asking them not to do this. So, the attached image was the sign that I put down behind the wall and so far it seems to do the trick. I will say That UPS drivers are by far worse than Amazon delivery drivers. It's almost impossible to miss the sign when you walk to the front door so I'm hoping it solves this problem permanently. And yes, it is laminated and put down with duct tape!😃

I live in a private house. Not in a walk-up tenement building with no elevator. I’ve left clear notes and delivery instructions. Most drivers follow them just fine, but a few either don’t bother to read or just lack basic common sense.

Do not leave packages on the steps where they’re out in the open and easy for anyone to snatch.

Put the packages behind the column inside the porch. You already walked the few steps up don’t let laziness stop you from following simple instructions

At times I get mad Amazon has made it impossible to have easy returns anymore, then I see why.

Someone bought a two pack screen protectors, used one, left all used trash inside and returned it.

Hello i ordered a knife off of Amazon, and it was suposed to be delivered today. But now it says my delivery is running late. The first notification I got was around 12pm and it said package left the shipper facility. After that I got another one that said package delayed in transit. Awhile later at 3:46pm I got another update that said package arrived at an amazon facility, and then another at 4pm that said package delayed in transit again. Has anyone ever had this happen? Will still get the package today? Please lmk. I have never had this happen.

I redeemed my amazon prime 6 month trial and 5 dollars per month prime deal, but it hasnt shown up on my account yet. It said verificaiton in process. Anyone know how long it usually takes?

I live in a condo complex with 5 buildings. I had two items scheduled for 6pm Saturday delivery. The first arrived at 4:15pm. The second item was delayed and they said Sunday by 6pm. It was delivered at 7:30am Sunday but not to my residence. It shows a photo of a ground floor door next to a rail with a small storm drain in front of it. It doesn’t look a door to a condo maybe an emergency exit. I can’t identify the location. I live on second floor and went to first floor to see if I could find where the box was dropped off.

The picture shows a large box which is mine and an Amazon envelope on top which isn’t. The two photos are totally different and you can see the driver left my package in parts unknown

Amazon is going to send a replacement but I wonder if the driver gets notified because he didn’t leave second parcels in front of anyone’s unit It looks like he just left them in the first spot he could find. Took a photo and just bailed.

I bought 2 Security cameras from Amazon and the product description says there are 2 camera sin each box but there are only 1 camera in each. I have taken pictures of what came out of he box unwrapped. I also ordered the a QTY of 2 4K cameras but they sent me a qty 1 of 1080P and qty 1 of the 4K so I took pictures of the retail box showing it's 1080P. These cameras are a bit pricey as both came to over $400 in tax. Anyone have problems getting refund from the seller as they are going to say they did not receive back the items they sent I as they originally sent me the wrong items in the first place.

I ordered two of the same dress in separate orders. Now I need to return both of them. They came in the Ready to Ship plastic bags with a bar code on each. Is there a way to tell which dress came with which order?

I'm asking because when I return them I want to make sure the return QR code belongs to the correct shipment. I'm not sure if Amazon can tell if I'm returning the exact dress from each order. I don't want Amazon to tell me that I'm returning the wrong item.

I've been working waiting on an order all day and checked my app to see that they were 3 stops away. I eagerly watch as he gets closer and finally pulls up my driveway. He got out the driver seat and looks through several packages in the van and ultimately just sits down, buckles back up, and drives off and now the app says it has "temporarily lost signal to your driver, but your package is still on the way". Is it true though? What are my chances that they attempt re-delivery?

Think the instructions said, "not to feed after midnight" 🤔

• Side note: that's a stray kitty that I've been playing with & feeding. He's got 2 other siblings but he's the most friendly

I've been a customer since the beginning and had few problems over the decades. Yesterday, they said they delivered a package but it was not here. So I checked the tracking info and it was delivered to the wrong city. They make it hard to find the option to report a missing package. Then they send you to a stupid useless bot to make you waste more time. This is the response after several attempts:

This superintelligent AI cannot figure out that my household or neighbors don't live in another city. Now they make me wait 4 days instead of letting me report the missing package. I understand being cautious with someone who reports many missing packages but that's not my case. I've been buying for decades and I'm a prime member. I'm done with this BS.

Is anyone having issues with reviews? I'm trying to read reviews but it will not allow me to do so. On browser or the app.

This was pretty slick on Amazon's part. My teen turned 18, so Amazon separated him from our household account and he no longer has Prime. The slick part is where he has over $200 in his gift card balance and now he can't use it without paying for slooooow shipping, and he doesn't have anything he wants to buy, anyway. He's very very frugal. It wasn't smart to apply his GCs to his account, but he didn't know.

It's not that much but it ticks me off.

I've been researching how to move that money over to our account. He cannot buy a gift card with a gift card balance. You can't do Gift of Prime any more. Any other ideas?

How do I get this reversed? My order just keeps getting cancelled after I had to get a refund for multiple damaged items in a previous order.

Bought an Apple Watch8 from Amazon. They send me an SE. So I innocently return it and mark “wrong item sent”. Few days later I get an email saying they will refund me when I return the correct item. I don’t have the correct item! So then I ask if they will send me back the “wrong item” so I can take a picture. They tell me they disposed of it!!! What is going on.

I want to do a charge back but I paid on a debit card is that still possible?

My Used Very Good shoes arrived with dog shit in the treads, heavy creasing and wear, spots of who knows what on the leather, and no insoles. Who the hell returns something like this.

Hi everyone-- I tried searching and couldn't find anything recent about this, so apologies if I missed something. It appears that recently Amazon has removed the Country of Origin from the Product Information on most listings. Is there any way to still get this info? (i.e., inspecting the page, etc.?) It's kind of shocking to me that they're allowed to remove this information when products have to be marked with it in the United States, why should they be allowed to sell items without disclosing the country of origin before purchase? As a workaround I've been checking the seller locations but that doesn't always match the country that the product was manufactured in.

Guess I'm not getting this today? Still says out for delivery. This is the second order after canceling the previous order for delivery delays as well.
