Discussion Who else is sick of ads?

I've had Amazon prime for about 10 years now. I havent used it much in the last 2 or so years. I come back today and now everything i try to watch has ads? I know this has been standard for other streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, etc... but when is enough enough? Between ads and annual membership price increases, we're basically just coming back full circle to having a cable subscription. Ill be canceling soon as Im not a huge fan of having garbage ads shoved down my throat at every scene change in a film or TV show.

So you pay for Prime, but you don't actually order anything from Amazon to take advantage of free delivery?

I do, and yes, I order from Amazon every now and again, but not very often anymore. Also, this discussion was aimed at the streaming service, hence why it's in the AmazonPrimeVideo subreddit.

The point that everyone is missing is that you don't pay for Amazon Prime Video. Nothing. Zip. Nada. Therefore, you don't get to moan about ads. If you want an ad free service, stump up the cash

Actually I do pay for it. I pay $15/ month for it, so your comment is irrelevant.

Plus paying for Amazon Prime separately? Are you sure...
