Discussion Why is an Amazon show, Electric Dreams, not available due to expired rights?
I’m trying to watch Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams, which is an Amazon production.
It doesn’t appear to be available anywhere on any streaming site that I can find. Despite being a literal Amazon show, all episodes show as “this title is unavailable due to expired rights.”
1) what gives? And 2) where can I watch it?

Amazon APV cannot be bothered to get their s*ht together on stuff like this.
I believe it's just an 80/20 thing where they mostly care about the things that are mostly watched.

Being this was originally released in the.UK and released on Amazon in 2018, more than likely there was an end date. Just like many Disney films are in the same predicament. Now instead they are on their own network. This is also a reason Netflix movies are no longer aired because the rights are ending from their contract.

Same message here. I'm also baffled.
You can buy it digitally on Apple or Fandango (but ironically not Amazon). It's been as low as $5 before (at least on Apple - not sure about Fandango), so it should hopefully drop to that price again at some point.
I guess the rights aren't as simple as they seem. Sony produced the series, Channel 4 distributed it in the UK, and Amazon bought U.S. distribution rights.
