Private therapy for BPD?

Hi all, i suspect I have a borderline personality disorder and while I am on the waiting list for an evaluation, I would like to know if someone can recommend a private therapist who specialises in bpd (and DBT would be nice)? I often have a very hard time dealing with my emotions and want to start with therapy asap. Preferably Amsterdam or area but further away is also fine. Thanks in advance for your advices 🙏

Really, there is only one proper answer here in my opinion; NPI. They specialise in personality disorders. Go to your GP and demand a refferal to them. Trust me, this complete stranger who himself has had Cluster C personality disorder

Please don’t go to NPI! I went to them for years and they ruined my mental health. I came out worse than I was going in. Please take the time to read some of their reviews on Google — I’m shocked they’re still open: https://maps.app.goo.gl/2nLpQJvzDC1ZgkBD9?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy

I haven’t found any suitable therapy in Amsterdam, but what I did find that really helped me was regular yoga classes and walking outside. It’s a big skill taught in DBT as well :) Good luck you got this

I am sorry you've you've had a bad experience. But 36 reviews for a company that deals with so many does not paint the whole picture. Besides; people who do have a good experience are far less likely to leave a review. It's complicated, mental health, and finding the right therapist is difficult. NPI may not be it for you, nor for OP, but OP might have a damn good shot here. Fine of you to warn OP, but your experience does not outweigh their experience.
