Anyone know MEDTtravel?
I came into contact with this guide via instagram. MEDtravel indeed. They also have a website and they seem like ok guys, but the rather low price (€230 all inclusive, including transport to and from the airport, food/water during the trek, crampons etc) makes me suspicious. They only asked me for €100 as a deposit (Western Union) and the rest when we see each other, as well as a passport photo to obtain the "climb permit". Does anyone know him? What can I do to make sure it's legit? I don't think he just wants to pocket the €100 and disappear, but if that were the case, the real damage for me would be in having purchased the plane tickets.
