Defintely one of the greatest masterpieces of Historicism in Munich.

There was a tragic air crash there in 1960.

A USAF plane sheared off the tip of the main church spire and crashed into the street, hitting a fully packed tramway. Dozens died.

Yup, not a lot of people do.

It happened two years after another, more prominent Munich air crash that killed half the Manchester United team.
