I think about this stereotype a lot. I wonder how many men experience these issues with their partners being absolutely inept at communication, especially cause you see this trait in women in TV and other media a lot for entertainment :|

This funny, because I’m a very direct communicator. And people think my tone is rude. I’m very soft spoken so, not my problem. Suddenly I’m “crazy” if I do.

Always gotta fit the fake media made image of a "proper" woman 🙄 AKA never speaks up and just does tasks around you at all times

It's obviously meant as satire, but it does seem that many women don't say what they mean as a result of conditioning. I'm including myself there. But I'm working on improving my communication so that when I am upset about something I'll come right out and say it instead of bottling it up.

I know many women refrain from communicating/saying what they really mean/want but there also plenty of dudes inept at reading between the lines.

To be fair to guys, after the first few times you or your friend reads between the lines when they shouldn't or has someone make a "funny joke to see your reaction", you tend to filter out anything short of blunt communication (and even then, they'd have to hit you over they head with it a few times) as kindness or pranks.

As a women, I gotta say this, some of us are so damn confusing. Honestly, if its fine say its fine, if it ain’t say it ain’t, if your not sure then say that. Its not that hard.
