Why is my car growing new wheels? Is this self driving? Self repairing?

The jacks are offering up a sacrifice, that usually means it's not cost effective to repair. I'm sorry for your loss, but congrats on watching this beautiful religious service first hand

The mechanic is really too confident!! A jack can support up to 2 tonnes but this is actually the total weight of the car spread over 4 jacks. Especially since it is an O-ring which allows the pressure. Otherwise the lifts would not operate with chains but just with oil pressure. If the car falls, it is good for 4 discs and two rocker panels. All this because he didn't have any spare bridges.... It's unconscious!!!

That's not growing new wheels. That poor car has been hunted down by a pack of jacks and is slowly being devoured.
