Cuisine Are these drink powders only popular in Croatia?

Have been to HR a couple of times, but I have noticed just now these... basically sugar and aroma and EVERYONE is drinking it o_O (Guess these add a lot to the overweight problems around here.)

Is this solely a Croatian thing or a Balkans way of life, folks?

What about those Cedevita bottles where you pop the powder from the cap into the water? I love to chug it in front of the Konzum right after purchase. I can feel my systems coming back online after that shit.

What you feel is a sugar and further more dopamine rush. It's your body going into defense mode. Your liver is then converting that fructose into a fat, as no other cell in your body can consume fructose. Your body is literally trying to stay alive. Eventually, when you are a bit older, pancreas will give up, liver will be full of fat and the ex-parrent company of cedevita will sell you drugs "to feel better".
