The clothing store at one of the recycling centres in our city is absolutely amazing, like genuinely. I have never seen anything dirty there, seems like all the clothes are washed and cleaned up super well, and everything is super cheap there. Last year I bought a high quality wool overcoat for 15€ and today I found a navy trench coat, something I've been looking for, and paid only 8€ for it. Also, everything is so organised and clean there, no clutter, it genuinely looks like a clothing store you'd find on the high street. It's so great that on the overcoat and jacket racks everything is organised by colour.

Poor selection of men's shoes, though. I'm still looking for loafers, but there's almost always none there. Today there was a few pairs, but they were both size 39, which is way too small for me.

Isn't buying second hand shoes a bit icky? I have no problem with clothes, but shoes put me off (since they're not as easy to clean)

Isn't buying second hand shoes a bit icky?

I mean, if one pair doesn't keep you warm enough, I guess another one doesn't hurt?

(this joke might only work in German :D)

Depends on the shoes, I think. More fancy shoes are better to buy used because they're not worn as often. Would I buy somebody else's old running shoes though? Probably not.
