I’m guessing that some fuck ass built a massive bomb out of the spirit wilds and she died preventing the entirety world from being destroyed and people hate her for creating the spirit wilds in the first place.

I'm not a LOK fan, but I wasn't even thinking of using it as a reason to hate Korra (I never hated her btw). Trying to find forgiveness for a past version of yourself (whether literal or metaphorical) is a really enjoyable trope. I hope it'll be a good show
