I will never get over the loss of all the previous avatars, it infuriates me to no end cause that's one of the most interesting things about being the avatar and now the only avatar contactable is one we already know

That could be a major plot point. The new avatar corrects the old avatars mistakes. That’s possibly what this new avatar does.

They find actual cloud spirit, and after whatever they need to do they find out that it is actually holding all the past avatars for some reason

Weren't they? Tenzin is able to speak with Aang in the spirit world. Roku sends his dragons soul to fetch Aang so they are both in the spirit world as well. Korra may have lost direct access but they should be in the spirit world somewhere. If I am overlooking something obvious do correct me though.

If I had a nickle for every time a Water tribe avatar Did their job horríbly and made the next earth avatar correct their mistakes I Would have 2 nickles, which Isn't a Lot but It's weird It hapenned twice in the last 2 cycles

Hey, it's only twice that we know of. It's possible all water tribe avatars have fumbled the ball.

I don't think Korra messed up that bad, honestly.  Like, Vaatu was gonna fuck up the whole planet, Korra managed to reconnect the spirit realm and that probably is a deep pool of wisdom (assuming you don't drown in it).

In her series Korra Did not mess UP that badly, but the next series premise is about the World hating the avatar because Korra Did a poor job after the series ended, to the point She is called "Korra the Destroyer"

I have a feeling their spirits will be somewhere in the spirit world, they're just no longer able to connect directly to the Avatar to offer guidance. They would need to be found manually.
