If Jae is gonna have a same-sex love interest, I hope they're able to show it, unlike with Korra and Asami. And if they do, I hope we eventually get another Korra story where we can see them be just as open about their relationship.

Agreed but actually they’re very open in the legend of Korra comics that take place after the series. Plus they kiss as well. 🤩

The novels are also pretty open when it comes to presenting gay relationships with Kyoshi getting together with her girlfriend pretty early on in her books.

I know about the comics. The thing about the comics, though, is that... I don't know how to put this... it's not equal. The only reason why the comics were significant was because they couldn't show their relationship in the actual show. That wasn't the case for any other romance in the franchise. So I just want one animated story -- whether it be a movie or a miniseries -- where Korra and Asami can be open about who they are.

But yeah. I really hope they don't face the same restrictions with Jae.
