How to control my spending?

Hi everyone! I currently cosplay and do fursuit content. Recently I’ve been looking at two new suits that I really want. I was trying to delegate what I really want first and maybe after that I can get the second one.

But I’m having this almost painful need to spend money. I have enough to cover my current bills and I’m not in debt but I know they aren’t something I NEED at the moment even if my brain is screaming. How do you guys handle budgeting? Or spending less money? 🙃

You have to be true with yourself and know your brain and emotions. Will you be satisfied if you get those suits? Will the itch still be there, the goal post moved? That's the only way for me to handle it. I just upgraded my computer with better parts. Am I happier? Not really but it was overdue to limitations. Now I want a better screen with better resolution. And I still plan to buy more parts as this was only a cheap placeholder.

she needed help with this bad i kinda wondered is she almost needed a gaurdianship or an atourny between herself and her own money... just to SLOW down the out of control self destruction and self harm in the form of out of control financial she went crazy like %100 on that bitcoin shit blew theu her buffer thru the rent money sold her car like REREALLLLY REALLY BAD

im the same like this guy with the computer my machine is like 16 years old and ive been thinking to buy new at wally world or something just like a cheap modern 800 doller machine but

i dont wonna spend money and also.. i dont like the glass case.. i wonna get just a plain grey box cuz im old lol

on the practical side to your cosplay spending when your bills are in order

ive never looked intot hat kinda stuff what is it like probly a few hundo or something?

if you have your rent money and bills money solid for this current month and also enough to cover the next 2 months at least if you suddenly couldnt work.. then it means you can afford it

if though for example if you bought it now and money would be tight then it means it is beyond you at this time

Stability bills electric gas food come first

if money is tight but you really want it..

then what about doing instacart of some side hustle on the weekends or day off for a week or 2 and have that be the money like a extra income if theres something you really want but u know its not reasonable or responsible then boost your income so that it is now within reason and within the lines of what is responsible

i think that is a good solution so that you can both have what you want but also know that you are not being reckless

I try to accept that its in my future and not in my now. Someday I will have a trampoline, but not today and that’s okay
