He's ok when he's there. He needed Kevin De Bruyne to really succeed there. Meanwhile Kevin De Bruyne, Pedri, or Vitinha paired with anyone and the team still looks ridiculous.

Pep barely plays with a 10. 60+% of games Bernardo is a winger and 100% of the time De Bruyne plays midfield as an 8. It wasn't until this past season with Rodri gone that he played with a double pivot and a 10.

You've clearly never watched him play. He's never played as a #10 + his best football has come with KDB not in the team.

He has played #10 for Portugal and well before he joined City. He played more on the wing than at #8. This season he played in the double pivot sometimes. How did that turn out for you?

De Bruyne is another 10 turned 8.
