Any news about new Music?

I love this band, and the schism part patriarkh. Only am not sure if Batushka is coming out with anything new.

I asked Derph at the end of the show in Portugal if we will get a new album, he smiled and said “will be”. So let’s keep supporting him!

Think they are too busy touring but I do hope he sits down soon and start working on new stuff.

I hope it doesn't really turn into something like system of a down... I literally just found this band

I hope so soon. I still can't help but feel like he missed a massive opportunity by not releasing any music when the lawsuit was ended in his favor. It would have been the perfect time to ride the buzz.

Like the suit gets ended and Dreph goes "surprise for the fans!" And drops something. Even if it was just a single, I feel like it could have ridden the hype train.

You misunderstand this project entirely. Hype is not what Derph is seeking, thats the fat fuck.

The fact that this project is art driven and very DIY is something I truly love and enjoy about it. On the other hand I don’t feel like making your fans who supported you through all the schism hell frustrated by a radio silence is the best PR move. We got all hyped up with a photo on his instagram page, we don’t need much I think to be satisfied and to wait until the new stuff is released.

If you go to a show and ask him he'll tell you there will be new music. The man barely uses social media and until he has something concrete to announce there's really not much to say, I'd rather wait than have anything rushed.

That’s true and I kind of admire his approach. I’m just saying that perhaps he or Lyk or anyone in the band can drop some photos, videos, backstage anecdotes, anything and the fans will eat it all up like gold. Derph is an amazing artist and he needs a certain environment to create, I respect that and it needs to be protected at all costs.

Silence can slowly kill a fan base, and the marketing of a one-man-managed band, even from a visionary artist, often ends up falling short. I also know he has trust issues with the band after all the drama, but at the same time, he’s built a fan base that remains deeply loyal and full of admiration for him.

That loyalty is a rare gift, and if nurtured with even small gestures of connection, it could grow into something far greater than he might expect.

After every single show Derph will grab all the remaining candles, climb down the stage and personally thank everyone in the first row while giving out the candles and shaking hands. I understand what you just said but that right there sealed the deal for me, thats a kind of real connection and appreciation for the fans that no social media post will achieve. The other guys are also very approachable and willing to chat outside, maybe I'm old school but I value that more.

Didn't patriarkh did those... The band is so good that it had its own schism. I wounder if it one of the them would be considered oriental orthodox versus the Eastern Orthodox Churches

More like one is considered one of a kind music and the other is generic folk metal garbage.

So afaik Batushka only have Litourgiya, all others are from Patriarkh?
