[Discussion] Is this the original Litourgya? Can I get some clarity please.

There is only 1 Litourgiya.
It is a mystery why it is available on Spotify in North America, but probably since Metal Blade has the distribution rights for North America. They haven't removed it because they will collect the stream royalties. This is conjecture, of course, but makes the most sense as far as guessing goes.
In such a case, the band name change doesn't matter and would not remove it from PATRIARKH Spotify. The metadata is still the same.
Derph sells copies at shows sometimes, but not with a label. They are his own bootlegs. Patriarkh does not sell physical copies of Litourgiya. They have the digital download on bandcamp.

It’s the original album, but the lyrics (the ones you can display, not the ones singed/spoken) are all chopped up, the band it says it’s under, it’s the other Батюшка that recently changed it’s name to Патриархь

This is the original album, just under the Faketushka name on Spotify.

In some regions, Litourgiya is still available on the Patriarkh (ex-Faketushka) spotify page. In most regions, Litourgiya has been taken off of Spotify completely since October 2024.

tho i could be wrong, audio wise this is the exact same album (the album art is also the same) that batushka had but due to legal stuff patriarkh now owns the album

Legally, batushka owns the album afaik

oh i figured it was the other way around since i think patriarkh still sells the album on bandcamp and i think sells vinyls for it, i assumed the court thing was just for like the band name, but i think patriarkh still owns the album because it was released under their record label at the time. it is batushkas album, but legally its patriarkhs, scummy
i listen to the batushka version anyway using local files 😌 i dont wanna gibe faketushka money for listening to litourgiya on their spotify 😋 if i ever ended up listening to the other albums, THEN they can
(btw i could be wrong and spreading misinfo, this is just based off of what ive heard and kinda came to my own conclusion i could be completely wrong sorry bout that)
edit: it might be more complicated then this actually 😵💫

Litourgia was taken down because the new owner didn't want it so I don't think so that they would republishe it again

I really like this album, but only really get into the mood for this kinda music every 2 or 3 years and I randomly stumbled upon it one of those times. I literally never understand whats going on when I read about the bands history or whatever, but im about to listen to it cause its a good fucking album and its been a minute
