While I’m sure the Royal Family are prissy fucks, the guy in the interview, Paul Burrell, is a con man that will say anything to make money and stay relevant

100% he’d sell his own granny for a fiver.

As opposed to tree fiddy.

I mean, the chances that he is the Loch Ness Monster isn't zero..

"Yes, hello, I'm the lochness monster and I'm just wondering if you can help me find my way home"

Again? How many grannies does he have - I already got two!

He’s just sold his 300th granny. I’m beginning to think they aren’t authentic and are counterfeit grannies.

What a wonderful coincidence because I happen to have a fiver right here!

I heard he’d fuck his own sister for a slice of cheese

He’d do that with no Wesleydale required.

I’m actually in the market for a granny.

He’d sell his own granny on Fiverr

Absolutely agree. I'm a vehement anti royalist, but this bloke is revolting.

I like to imagine Charles had the measure of him and was just fucking with him.

I'll have you know he buttles with the best of them.

Actually, I have no idea if he's a good butler, but it's damned hard to get a good bat-man these days, by Jove.

I don't know anything about these folks but my first thought was "traitor" and I loathe blood borne privilege

If the valet's job is to lay out the clothes and prep the bathroom and all that stuff, then what's the issue with valet's doing those things? If you can afford to hire a valet, what else are they going to do? The ironing the clothes thing is probably a holdover from when laundry was hung to dry, as it makes crispy air-dried clothes a lot softer. My non-hoity toity grandmother used to iron cloth diapers to make them more comfortable. My point being, a lot of the complaining sees to be about people doing their jobs more than anything else. If the royal family did these chores themselves, why would they employ valets?

This is the broken window fallacy. In a healthy economy, labor will find the most productive work available. In this case, I would guess the cache of working for the royal family is worth quite a bit to those employees. So, they will accept lower wages for the status of having that job. Without the job being available, they will find employment elsewhere that would probably pay more.

Just look at the video. This guy is somewhat famous and grifting on his prior position and not his skill.

I have no idea why you feel the need to defend the royal families egregious lifestyle and history. I really don’t give a fuck if it’s their job, the royal family can fuck all the way off. Wasn’t even the point of my comment even lol

If the royals did their chores themselves, valets would probably do something more productive instead

Sounds like he’d fit right in with the royal family

king charles was a paratrooper and pilot. They didn't have him on any real active missions but he was allowed to help with fire rescue and forest fires. My grand father was his paratrooping teacher and would regularly tell us stories about sneaking him out with the boys. The people that mandate his life are the royal pricks is what my family has always said.

I wonder if he ever got round to launching his Princess Diana Theme Park

I don't know this person, but in the context of what he's saying, well it's your job that you got paid for! Dumb
