Well, in this case it's clickbait. Customer didn't run away after eating the food, he ran away before he even finish placing the order if you read the article. OP only put up a screen cap, Knn... 

Its not newsworthy aside from the ridiculous price.

sorry didn't read the article, just my principal of avoiding any clickbaits as discouragement

so whats the proof or at least indication that anything is real? do we know the whos the customer or the name of the shop as reference? or source of this news?

Personally, I think what's truly outrageous here is calling that wet slop char kuey teow. Spoil name only.

That's why I always call them ckt "BASAH" cus it's the wet version. But a lot of ppl are dumbfounded and go "oh malay version of ckt and Chinese version of ckt" NAH bro one is literally wet. They fried the kuey teow then added the Kuah.

And tbh i prefer the wet version than the normal one (dry version)

They fried the kway teow first B4 they added the Kuah. So Char=fried is correct
