This morning I read a news about STPM top scorer with 99.90% merit failed to get his dream course which is Accounting at Universiti Malaya. This guy name Edward Wong Yi Xian failed to get any Accounting Programme from UM, UKM, USM, UPM, UTM and UUM. Instead he got his Fifth Choice which is SARJANA MUDA PENGURUSAN at USM. When I read the news title, I thought he doesnt get any offer all.

This kinda baffles me that this guy put that programme as his 5th choice in UPU and he is suprise he get that programme. If he actually dont want that programme, why the hell did he put it as his 5th Choice!? He also say he is applying to six university but he put Management which the programme he dont want as his 5th choice.

If you go look at UPUOnline e-Panduan and look at STPM Tahun Semasa (Sastera), there are 16 Accounting Course can choose from various university. Minus the UITM, UNIMAS and UMS (Since he is not Bumiputera and assuming he dont want to fly to Borneo) he still have like 13 course he can choose and put into UPU. He can also still pick UIAM and USIM even if he are not muslim since this two university still accept non muslim. UPU allow you to put 12 Choice and if he really want to pursue accounting, he should fill all 12 choice with Accounting programme. But for some unknown reason, he decided to put SARJANA MUDA PENGURUSAN at USM as his 5th choice and he is surprise that he get that programme.

In my opinion, it is not the system fault that UPU give him SARJANA MUDA PENGURUSAN at USM when he himself put it as his 5th choice. UPU is a system and the system doesnt really know what you actually want. What they know is the choice you put in UPU is the programme you willing to take. If you dont want that certain programme, dont put that certain programme into your UPU choice. The UPU will check your first choice and decide whether you get the programme. If not, UPU will proceed with your second choice and so on until your last choice. It just happen UPU reach his 5th choice and decide he is eligible for that programme and decided to give him that programme. From what I can see, this guy dont understand how UPU system works at all.

The issue here seems like he doesn't get into his dream university which is Universiti Malaya rather than his dream course. UM cant take every top scorer in this country. There are more than 100,000 people applying for UPU and there are a lot of people with 100% merit out there. USM itself is one of the top university in Malaysia and it is also hard to get in. I am very sure there are a lot of people who failed UPU out there willing to take that course and willing to traded his places.

Out of curiosity, how does the rich people in malaysia take their driving license? Do they have their own like high end driving school or they took it just like we do? Or they just pay extra money for the license to be processed without taking the exam?

I hate going to the driving school and facing the jpj. For sure they hate it as well. There must be a better way for them since they have money.

As I expected, he made a lot of mistakes and is no longer working CS. He's now to focus solely on his work in financials. I can tell his supervisor is disappointed in him, not that surprised, made a lot of mistakes that could otherwise be prevented if he had just listened or be patient with. Screw up his financial part and he'll be getting the boot. Maybe he's just not cut out for too many responsibilities, about 10 days left then he's on his second month. Mistakes range from not knowing what to do, even after being advised just mere days ago, when something not in SOB appears. Giving unclear instructions to customers, like they're supposed to do A when B happens but he just told them to wait for B to happen. Sleeping, even if it's just closing his eyes, on the job. On a sidenote, he actually does three things. Helping out with customer service, which happens every day. Doing financial transfers, happens like a few times a week. Acting as an agent for new patients, his job isn't even a full agent, just get them the early numbers.

So i’ve been kenal2 this girl from my university for some time. Shy type of girl, but somehow very energetic in chat. Things going good for 3 weeks. We met after class and have a good talk. But suddenly, after our last meet, she stopped replying that night, she just bluetick my last night chat, she always does that and will reply tomorrow after she wake up. But the next day she still hasn’t replied. Me being unbothered and go on my day. When i want to go to sleep, her last seen still there, me being confused a bit on why, just brush it off and sleep. When i wake up, shower get ready to work. I take a look one last time. And find that her last seen was gone, im suprised and confused. There is uneasiness feeling but i just straight to work lah i mean what the hell right ? But i feel like she blocked me. And today i found she block me for real ? Im so confused, like why ? Why suddenly ? We have like real connection and her energy like so good and matching, no women have that same energy. Maybe she’s younger ? We 8 years apart in age. But im so confused that, what did i do wrong ? Is she being performative ? But why ? Something i messed up ? I think you guys can understand right this situation, things going too good but suddenly its gone ? We have this very deep discussion that SHE started on me. So why suddenly she did this ? Why in that timing ? In the evening ? Why not block me right after our last meet or that night at least the message is really2 clear. I know she’s super shy type of girl, her insta dont have any picture and even her whatsapp. But this giving me a strange signal. Sorry to vent like this, this is very new feeling to me

I'm about to take my JPJ test in a few days, and most of my teachers have suggested that I “pay extra” to pass. They’ve shared stories about other students failing, which makes me realize how corrupt this system is. 😭 What do you mean I could fail just because a tiny part of my bumper is barely over the line? 😭 Honestly, is this what happens to everyone else, or is it just at my location?

2. Play Yugioh Master Duel (Steam)

My knowledge about IT hardware is shallow, this is my extent of expectation when I came up with these shopee item list :

1. Avoid 4 cores. Go for higher, six, eight or any is ok.
2. RAM 12 or 16 gb. (cuz 8gb alrd makan by Windows system)
3. Processor having 3.0Ghz. (which is basic desktop level performance)
4. Any AMD/Nvidia graphic should do. (its just Yugioh, not 3A titles)
