[Beazley] The Pirates have claimed utility man Ryan Kreidler off waivers from the Tigers. He’s 27 and has played 2B, SS, 3B, LF and CF. Career .138 hitter with two homers, a double and eight RBIs in 89 big league games. The Pirates’ 40-man roster is now full.

Visiting for the Brewers/Buccos Series, what's a good fancy restaurant?

Visiting in like 2 weeks or so. Just so happens our anniversary falls during the vacation (unplanned, I just like baseball).

What's a good anniversary type restaurant? FWIW I do not plan to propose (hopefully ever but that's nothing with her, I'm just lazy). Like medium fancy maybe? I'm not looking to spend 500$ but 250—300 is okay.

As a aside to the question, I'm so unbelievably excited about this trip. Pittsburgh has been a bucketlist city for me to visit for years so I'm glad it worked out. PNC Park is a freaking dream. We're staying towards the Mexican War Streets area.

Noticed today the Pirates doing a celebration for Triolo’s home run and for IKF’s double. Looked like they were holding up triangles? Anyone know the details on this celly? When did it start? I remember earlier in the season the buccos were one of the few teams to not have a hit celebration

Just recently the pitching had been just flatout awesome. Pauly Skenes of course, but the rest of the staff, mostly starters or wanna be starters have been impressive.

Obviously yesterday Bubs coming up and dominating is impressive. But today Mike Burrows pitched really well and he could be a competent MLB starter. Ashcraft is doing well at the moment and he should be a competent MLB starter as well. Mlodzinski has shown remarkable improvement since shifting to the 'pen, and I know he wants to start as well. Tom Harrington might have a shot at something?

Then we got Denny Santana competently taking over for Bednar, and Dauri Moreta is almost back. Two years ago I thought he was Bednar's replacement.

And let's not forget Johan Oviedo. The jury's still out on him. Flashes of great stuff but injuries and inconsistent play make him a question.

So yeah, assuming we don't blow a 5 run leaf tonight we might have something good going for us.

Yeah, I know... Just drunk and high feeling positive tonight for some reason.
