I used to work for Dimmitt Cadillac in Tampa FL back in 2013 and we built a handful of SLP supercharged Escalades and sold them new. I loved those trucks and want to try and track one down I could buy. Has anyone here ever seen one or know someone who has one?

I have a 2020 Cadillac ct5. The check engine recently came on for a evap code. Does anyone know if this is a common problem with these cars? And what is the possible solution?

The screen on my XT4 has been acting weird lately where the screen will go black.

I’ve noticed it seems most common when I set cruise control. The screen on the speedometer side will go black for a few seconds. It seems random, plus it only happens when I’m driving so I can’t get a video or picture of it happening.

Any familiar with this or have any idea what’s going on? I don’t have a dealership very close to me, plus with it not being reproducible I’m not sure they’ll even do anything so I haven’t taken it in yet.

Fun turbo noises increase as the weather cools off.

The bluetooth worked fine until one day earlier this year. The bluetooth suddenly stopped working properly. The phone is able to connect to XT5 bluetooth without problem, and I can hear the voice from the incoming caller. However, the caller can't hear my voice. I tried different phones, the same issue exists.

Anyone has any ideas how this can be fixed. Thanks a lot.

Review about the 2025 Cadillac Escalade

I have recently purchased a CUE sound system to replace the standard CUE in my car. When I plugged it in the screen was black. I looked online and tried some troubleshooting but nothing worked. The screen does turn on, but no images appear. This was supposedly a working system according to the seller. I've seen on rock auto they sell the replacement screen for $15 and they come pre-prgrammed. But before I go tearing this system apart I was wondering if anyone has changed this out before and had the same issue. Is it just a bad screen or is there some kind of software I need to install to the cue system for it to work on my car. I've attached pictures of the one I bought and the one I currently has in the car (small screen).

I genuinely don’t understand how this transmission is so bad? I had the dreaded valve body issue, and instead of waiting on a list 3500 deep, I got a full OEM transmission swap as I am still under warranty.

The new one still occasionally lurches when downshifting, and consistently hunts for gears.

How has GM stayed competitive when their transmissions are just….bad? Even my Ford with the same 10 speed is significantly better.

So after hours of reading and trying to get an answer I came to the conclusion that simplest way to replace old headlight assembly for cheap was to buy a new one and install the old HID bulbs in the new housing. However it seems damn near impossible to get the main HID bulb out of the old housing, I tried disconnecting the wire, unscrewing every component out and even cracking the old assembly open with a hammer.

Besides going the HID route, what can I do to get these halogen assemblies to light up? The marker light & turn signal work but that's it. I've read from cadi forum there's wiring kits but haven't been able to find information on how to do these yourself.

Looking to purchase my next car after my beater took a crap on me and had my eyes on a well priced ‘07 sts was wondering if it would be reliable for a daily?

I’ve seen posts about timing chain issues and I’m wondering how prevalent that is with regular oil changes, I’m also wondering if there are modifications to be done to make make it less susceptible to such issues. What could be some other major/minor issues I should know of?

Sidenote: it’s between this 07 sts and an 08 ford Taurus 3.5L v6, with the ford being slightly more expensive, both awd

We have a 2023 Xt6 14000 miles....

Brought it in to get a warranty fix on a few things.

One of those things is the fin on top being replaced/put back on.

When we got it back...we noticed there is a "CAL" warning on the dash and our Nav doesn't work.

It worked just fine before we brought it in. Now it doesn't.

Did the mechanics mess something up maybe when they "replaced or fixed" the fin(antenna on top?)

If any of y'all are driving a XT6, check your spare tire size BEFORE it becomes an issue.

My Wife got a flat tire but luckily made it home.

I went to show her how to change it out and come to find out that the spare DOES NOT FIT around the XT6's 6 piston brake caliper.

I dunno if it is a configuration issue; the XT6 came with factory 21" rims, and the spare tire is an 18". There is no way that small spare can fit over that monster of a brake caliper.

Im guessing a full size spare is the solution.

Just do yourself and loved ones a favor and check out your spare tire before you find yourself stuck without a way to get back on the road

Finished the install on the android head unit for my 2013 Cadillac ATS! I love it! Finally have Android auto, GPS, and got rid of interfacing with the cue system. I wish the install came with instructions though! It would've made it 10x faster to install but if you're used to installing head units in your car, it'll be fine. Works great with my sub and amp! I'm very happy with it!! Makes my car feel 100x newer. It has it's own skin for the climate control settings and everything. Works great! I believe it was around $350 but you can't beat it for trying to get Android auto/car play on an older ATS. Plus you have access to installing android apps in general. I can watch YouTube and browse the Internet. It's pretty cool lol.
