I preordered the upcoming LSD album/cd the second it became available. Shortly after, I ordered a daisy t-shirt that arrived rather swiftly and I fully intend on wearing it until it falls off my back. Frankly, I genuinely just want to give them more of my money. With that said, I received an email from the “consultants memorabilia collection” stating that customers with orders being sent to the US regarding to the upcoming album need to update their “Shopify” account info with the online store to ensure orders. In their own words:

“US friends need to update their information on Shopify in order to comply with the new tariff terms and receive their LSD orders in good time.”

All things considered, I wanted to submit a few more things i had my cart and noticed that when I went to check out, a red prompt popped up that said “The product in your cart is not available for delivery to United States”. Upon scrolling through the rest of the store, I noticed serval items were no longer available with “page not found” prompts showing instead. For example, the only clothing options available currently are the baby onesies. There is no “sold out” there genuinely are no other options. All miscellaneous merch items are no longer available as well.

I imagine with the current album release, US tariffs and thousands of orders needing to be sent worldwide, their store is probably more than a bit over loaded. I’m mostly curious to know if anyone else has had this issue In regards to merch just being inaccessible on the site, when merch items will be made available again and or if certain items are truly just barred from being shipped to the US for the time being. Luckily my preorder from before is paid and secured after reviewing my account. Call me greedy, but if I’m able to acquire more merch in celebration of this band, feel as though I’d be doing myself a disservice if I didn’t ask. Any and all insight is appreciated!

I’d seen the Tarred and Feathered video floating around over the years but never really looked much deeper. About a week ago I stumbled on some YT clips from their rehearsal DVD and was just blown away. Such unique and brilliant creative energy. Since then I’ve been binging on everything I can find. Almost feels like it’s rewiring my brain—every note and time change sparks my neurons awake or something :). I’m in my late 50s and kinda feel like I missed the boat on this band, especially after finding out Tim Smith has passed. But man, I’m glad I finally discovered them. Thats all I wanted to say…

Question in title! I'll be travelling when the album is released and would ideally like to order the CD but still download the digital version while away, if that's at all possible.

This was an attempt to create a cover for LSD, Kavus liked it a lot but for some reason I never finished it. I plan to do something better in the future.

A story example, you ask? Of course! Here is mine:
On a night long ago, on a long and stinky musical tour, an gentleman named Shane Embury and I were up late rambling about music. As if by magic, he produced a compact disc and played its musical contents, proclaiming, "In 6 months, you'll have a song stuck in your head and it'll be Cardiacs." He handed me a CD-R with all the Cardiacs albums on for when that happened.
And that's exactly what happened. The song was RES.

I got into Cardiacs in a weird way, jumping from Thingy to Monsoon Bassoon first, and I've tiptoed into a lot of brilliant acts on the massive Cardiacs Family Tree but Vennart is a mystery to me. If I love STG/Guns/Garage most of all of the Cardiacs output, what's a good start?

Since LSD was announced, there have been so many people coming out of the woodwork and talking about how much our darling little Tim meant to them and how much Cardiacs impacted their lives. Couple that with the gorgeous new songs, especially the secret third song that we shall not mention yet, lest the ABC crack down on us, it’s all brought me to happy, happy tears quite a few times.

It’s just wonderful that a weird little British band and everyone surrounding it can just be so absolutely lovely and kind and all of us just so very strange and askew at the same time.

It seems to me that our Leader of the Starry Skies would be very happy to experience this resurgence of love and hear the care that Jim, Kavus and the rest of the band have put in to honoring the musical legacy that he left.

And and and… It comes out on my birthday!

When looking at the Apple Music page for LSD, Volob is also available for listening. Is it the 3rd single that somehow got released early? Definitely not complaining.

Does anyone else here have dreamed about listening to LSD in the last few in the last couple of weeks? For me, it's like after reading any new interview with Cardiacs, I have dreams about the listening experience.
