Cardiff Uni accommodation – What’s Senghennydd Court really like?

I’m an incoming international postgrad (Journalism, Media & Culture) and I just found out I’ll be living in Senghennydd Court, Ensuite Plus. Couple of things I’m not 100% sure about:

Are the bedding/kitchen packs provided by the uni actually clean and worth using, or should I just plan to buy my own? Does “Ensuite Plus” mean private bathroom and private kitchen, or just the bathroom and then a shared kitchen? What’s the general vibe of Senghennydd Court? (noise, location, people, etc.)

If anyone has lived there before, would love to hear your honest thoughts. Thanks in advance! 🙌

Its okay for its quality. Honestly even if it wasnt i woulf still suggst you get the bedding pack because its very difficult to go out and buy all the bedding essentials on the first day

Haha, it’s like this. I feel more reassured if the quality is good. I just want to have a good sleep on the first day💤
