Thoughts on the VW Arteon?

Moving from the USA to Europe and I'm thinking about buying a VW Arteon. I drove a VW CC for the past 10 years in the United States and absolutely loved it so this purchase would make sense.

I found a couple of these cars for sale with around 50,000 km in the price range of €23-€25,000.

What do you guys think? Would this be a good buy? Have you owned this car?

I’ve driven an Arteon R Shooting Brake for three years and it was great.

Overall great styling, inside and out. The longer wheelbase ensures a smooth ride on the Autobahn and gives plenty of space in the second row. Boot space is also decent.

The only issue I've had with it is the price. At least in Denmark, the price would be creeping into Audi territory.

No doubt it's a cool car, I've also looked at it a few times - but something to consider.

If you have the money, try BMW 6 series GT or 5 series with 2L Petrol engine.

IMHO, one of the top-3 cars in its segment. It's really, really great.

I hate the upper lip on the front grill. It ruins the car’slooks completely. Plus for the insane price I rather have a BMW or a Mercedes.
