Help save Venice from eternal Winter. [Play-by-post] [Discord] [Changeling The Dreaming]

I am way in over my head, but oh well.
Full disclosure; I have never ran a play-by-post server and have very little play-by-post experience.
This isn't an ad for a new game. This is a call to save an existing game, and requires some context.

There is a play-by-post C20 game on Discord called Masks At Midnight. The game takes place in Venice, Italy, and allows players to make their own factions and freeholds - which I guess might be standard for play-by-post, but I wouldn't know since was my first.
The owner got busy with real life, and made an announcement that the server was to be deleted.
I spoke with him, and he offered to shift ownership to me as long as I can gather a decent playerbase and at least two other Storytellers.

I've run plenty of World of Darkness (Mostly Vampire and Hunters Hunted), but have never actually run Changeling as a Storyteller before, despite very much wanting to. This could very well be a dumpster fire. Please understand that before you join.

Oh, wonderful! If you join the discord (https://discord.gg/uTZ6Gq8BPB) Head over to the general chat. You'll see a message by Emérance Wyldstone with a bunch of tags under it. React to that with the Changeling :kith: emote to show the current owner that you're one of the new playerbase.

I was interested, joined, spent a lot of time familiarizing myself with the setting and building a character, got it approved, and then… sat for weeks with no play or interaction happening.

I understand that storytellers have their own lives and that they were too busy to run any games, but then why are you advertising for a campaign that you don’t have time to run?

I'm not the owner. I can't speak for him, and I won't try to. I don't know why they advertised it when they did.

This, if it succeeds, would mean the server is under new ownership though.

Okay, I just found this post. Changeling is my favorite game of all time, and I would be so deeply interested in this I don't have words.
