She’ll definitely say no to the god of death.

She already has, multiple times.

I think a Soviet Grandma + Olenna Tyrell convo would make for some great tv.

Lots of “no,” and any experience Olenna could come up with, grandma has seen worse.

"Sᴠᴇᴛʟᴀɴᴀ, ɪᴛ's ᴛɪᴍᴇ ᴛᴏ ɢᴏ." said Death, floating into the babushka's home, scythe in hand, list in the other.

She aimed her old service rifle at him.

"I'ᴠᴇ ʙᴇᴇɴ ᴠᴇʀʏ ᴘᴀᴛɪᴇɴᴛ ᴀɴᴅ ʟᴇɴɪᴇɴᴛ. Yᴏᴜ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴛᴏ ʟᴇᴀᴠᴇ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴍᴇ."

She pulled back the firing pin and shouldered the rifle, cataract eye gazing down the sights. She fired, missing wide, shooting one of her many cats.

"Fɪɴᴇ. I'ʟʟ ᴛʀʏ ᴛᴏᴍᴏʀʀᴏᴡ." Death muttered, leaving. Walking inside after him, another figure dressed in a cloak.

"Yᴀʀɴʙᴀʟʟ, I ᴀᴍ Dᴇᴀᴛʜ ᴏꜰ Cᴀᴛs! I ᴀᴍ ʜᴇʀᴇ ᴛᴏ sʜᴇᴘᴀʀᴅ ʏᴏᴜ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ᴏᴛ-"

There's something you need to understand about the Balkans or Eastern Europe and the old and elderly farmers.

As it currently stands, Eastern Europe is one of the most tormented regions on the entire planet. There have been numerous people alive 30-40 years ago that have been through 2 World Wars, multiple regime changes, and, in the case of Belarus/Poland/Ukraine/Romania, severe discrimination by the soviet parties, as well as land seizes and such.

Throughout it all, they all survived by doing one thing and one thing only, and that's the only thing they're good at: ploughing their land.

Come winter, come invasion, come radiation, come government or soldiers, all they did was work the land, year after year, and eat off it.

My own damn father's a victim of this. His is a lineage of farmers. Two generations of his have seeded and harvested his plot of land, and now, as he's entering his 60s, the only thing he wants to do is retire on the farm.

The loyalty they all have to that small plot of land is immense.

Not saying this comment isn't useful to others but fear not, I myself do understand, considering I'm Polish.

The last Babushka saying don't be afraid of us, we don't contain radiation is soooooo adorable :')

Put 100 coal miners in front, and that army is unstoppable.

No need for armor, they can even be naked.

(They probably will be naked).
