I just installed Flex on a Dell XPS L502 and a Dell XPS 2720 AIO. Previously these machines had weird jittery graphics problems, especially on YouTube. Now they run smooth as glass. I believe Google must have updated their driver software for the GeForce GT mobile line of graphics cards.
The XPS 2720 All in One is now an amazing device and it runs developer mode. It's got a huge screen, touch screen is working, wifi is working, amazing internal audio is working. It's a great candidate for Flex. the motherboard in my daily driver windows 11 lite gaming machine died, so I'm using this AIO as a daily driver. Hard to believe this device is 12 years old.

I'm having trouble installing ChromeOS Flex onto my Mac and I came across this post about chromeOS and it's process of installing and how it wipes drives. If I'm unable to install chromeOS onto my Mac can I still revert it back to Mac? Am I screwed?
I followed all of the installation instructions and now its just stuck on the apple logo and progress bar screen

I think the new changes for Chrome OS is to address the projects like Fyde OS or Bliss OS.
They are able to run Android applications.
So instead of getting rid of Chrome OS, but it is to optimize it closer to these newer projects?
I love the mission of Chrome OS Flex so I hope it doesn't get discontinued.

It has been awhile but 9 months ago or so I was trying to get chromeOS Flex to work on AMD AM5 systems. and came to the conclusion that it was impossible as the USB installer fails to boot on the many AM5 systems I tried including zen 5 9700x and zen 4 8700g.
Was hoping someone could update me with the current situation?

Has anyone managed to resolve the issue where Amazon Music tracks stop playing after 20 seconds? Using ChromeOS Flex and the Amazon Music Chrome web environment. Version 139.0.7258.132 (Official version) beta 64-bit. Relevant information. In the same environment, podcasts play normally, without interruption. Which leads me to believe it's related to protected content. Spotify works fine on the same Chrome browser, both music and podcasts. Finally, what I managed to do to use Amazon Music was install the Brave browser on the Linux environment. But everything is a bit slower than it should be.

So I've installed ChromeOS Flex on an old Lenovo N21 and it works great except there is no onboard audio. It doesn't even show up on the device list. I was able to connect a Bluetooth speaker and a USB to 3.5mm adaptor and those both work, but I would prefer using onboard audio. In the past, I've installed GalliumOS on it and the onboard audio worked. The problem with GalliumOS is that it is EOL. Is there a way install the audio drivers in ChromeOS, or maybe copy the audio drivers from GalliumOS to ChromeOS?

So I've installed ChromeOS Flex on an old Lenovo 100S and it works great considering it has an old Intel Atom CPU and only 2GB RAM. It even supports virtualization so I was able to enable Linux/Crostini, install Flatpak and some Linux apps. The problem is that Linux/Crostini doesn't recognize the Xbox controller even though ChromeOS does. I've tried multiple different controllers both wired and Bluetooth with no success. I've tried changing ChromeOS to the Beta and Dev channels with no success. Is there any controller support for Linux/Crostini? Is it just missing controller drivers or is it something on the kernel level?

Does anyone know how to configure Proton VPN as a built in VPN on Chrome OS Flex? I’ve tried the OpenVPN and Wireguard config and can’t get them to work.

I have OneDrive integrated and SSO/iDP to Azure setup on my managed Google Chrome OS devices.
When i open a Microsoft office document, it prompts me to install the Microsoft 365 app so it can open/handle the files, it works great after that, but I want this Microsoft 365 app pre-installed or forced to be installed so my users don't have to deal with this prompt and wait time while it installs..
Google instructions for this, here - Option A: Preconfigure Office for the web in Microsoft 365 for your users - Chrome Enterprise and Education Help Step 2: Install the Microsoft 365 PWA on devices - does not work.
I have followed these instructions, and you will see in the image a pinned icon with no image.
I tried asking Chat/Copilot/Gemeni for help but they are all uselessly spewing the same instructions that do not work.
Any help would be super appreciated.
