Coaching malpractice, we have the 350th worst 2pt defense. You had to keep attacking the rim

Yeah idk why they thought shooting their way out of today was a good strategy. Berg is not THAT intimidating a rim presence

Berg did have his best half of his career in the first. He did a couple of things that didn't make me yell, "Get him out of there" at my TV. Gave TKR time to stay out of foul trouble. Heide was good today too. They both helped us out. And Colvin's dunk will probably be a sports center top 10 play tonight.

Yeah this was the first time I've thought he could actually fill into a role properly. He brought great minutes his presence is probably the exact thing that forced High Point to try and start their barrage from behind the arc

I think their hot start is what did them in. They got deceived by the basketball gods

He was 4/5 on field goals but barely shot at all after the first like 5 minutes of the game lol. If they gave him the ball more we could’ve saw a different result fs

Honestly we made pretty good adjustments today though, were switching on everything and did a much better job not allowing the backdoor cuts we usually do.

Elite? No, but definitely had a game plan for the opponent

Agreed, made the extra effort to stay in front on defense so that they couldn't make the drives to the basket

Tbh purdues on ball defense was stellar today they were trying to drive it they just were not beating anyone off the dribble which is insane for this Purdue team
