That Charleston Classic is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Fun fact, Wheeling’s logo is out of date because the top of the cardinal’s head forms a J. I suspect it’s because they can’t afford to pay somebody to design a new one or to implement a rebrand.
Not so fun reasoning for that fact, the school used to be Wheeling Jesuit until a few years ago when there was a financial scandal that in part involved misappropriating grant funds from NASA, an increasing amount of control exerted by the diocese of Wheeling-Charleston over the school’s board, and the cutting of several majors including theology while the school added a football program. It was a baffling saga that resulted in the Jesuits removing their affiliation from the Catholic school, but the J is still there on the cardinal.
On a basketball note, Haywood Highsmith of the Miami Heat went there, winning Division 2 player of the year honors his senior year

Hey now you didn’t have to do Pitt like that.
I mean I love it, but you didn’t have to say it.

Man, I’m really starting to get worried about our buy games
I think Louisville is still a possibility but many of the other still possible possibilities, there are too many marquee matchups that they play, and they probably don’t wanna trip up against a higher mid major, so no Kentucky, Marquette, Wisconsin, Michigan St or Ohio State (bleh, but the money for the program would’ve been nice)
Maybe Cincinnati too, but again, I have no clue who’s going to be paying us
Although, my dad hasn’t received an email about season ticket prices yet, so could someone be coming to Athens, but they’re trying to nail the details? Also not currently having an AD probably doesn’t help.

I feel so bad for the fans who felt wronged that their team didn't make the tourney last year only for the team to turn around and give them this joke a of schedule. I only see 4, maybe 5 opportunities to grab Q2/Q1 wins in this

Well if we learned anything - Q1 wins are not important anymore 🤷🏼♂️

Q2 wins matter too. Do you actually think the 8 Q4 wins are going to do anything for you?

When 90% of Big 12 games are Q1 it won't matter.

This is the Mike Anderson special, they'll need to absolutely kill it there because they gave themselves no chance to build a resume with this. I mean top 4 or 5 finish and a good tourney run at the very least to have a fighting chance. Also those Q1s will be road games, something WVU completely avoids with this schedule, I can't believe they didn't add one or two true road games to prepare themselves for conference play

Clemson in Charleston and Ohio St in Cleveland will essentially be "away" games even if they aren't technically away games.

If you aren't playing at the other teams home facility, it's a neutral site game, not a road game. Playing at the Cavs stadium isn't the same as playing at Ohio States on campus venue. Clemson is literally a four hour drive away from Charleston, calling that one a home game for Clemson is ridiculous

4 neutral site games in 3 different states and 2 different city names...
