Hamas keep launching the rockets because they cause Israel to attack the launchers. At that point Israel is in a no win situation. If they don't warn and civilians die the Guardian will blame them. If they do warn the Guardian will blame them (e.g. this cartoon). And no matter how careful you are with intelligence and targeting you're bound to kill a few civilians. Or if Israel doesn't retaliate the population will get pissed off with the politicians in charge, vote them out and vote in people who will.

I feel odd after reading this comics.

I'd have liked to see it start with the dog filling some PBC tubes with nails and ball bearings, creating a home made flying pipe bomb basically, and launching his home made rockets at Israel... then going inside to answer the phone.... a more realistic comparison, at least. I don't know if it would be "funny" that way, but it would at least represent reality a bit more.

If you're really trying to make it represent reality, it wouldn't be him, it would be his cousin who drops by occasionally.

His cousin, loading the rockets and saying "I'm just going to shoot this from your rooftop, OK cousin!?!?!"... I'm ok with that.
