Funny Oh, come on...

This is my 5th patch of queenbeets this ascension, and my 32nd overall attempt. I plant them all at the same time but I usually only get 6~8 ticks on each square. This square, as you can see, will have 0 ticks.

The only upside is that I can pull off simple garden combos to make total progress leaps.

Wish there was a soil that got plants to grow evenly.

this is why poke holes method is better

poke holes method?

guessing by the name it would involve filling the entire garden then poking holes once stuff start maturing so that you can make sure the rings have a maximum life span.

is that it or am i missing something?

interesting. i'm napkin-mathing it and i think i see how it can offer more total ticks per full garden, though not many more. i might try it next time.

my most recent run i did over last night also hit a ring which got no ticks, however, i finally spawned a juicy queenbeet bud in one of the remaining rings. stoked to move on from this for a while, at least until i'm working on filling out my second seed catalogue.
