Whole-home antenna + DVR over Ethernet (no coax)?
I have Fios internet only (no TV). Each TV is wired with Ethernet only (no coax). I’d like to use one digital antenna as a backup TV source for the whole house, ideally with DVR.
I looked at Tablo (HDMI + apps), but since I want the system to work offline when internet is down, I’m not sure Tablo is the best fit.
Is there any way to avoid relying on apps and make it feel more like a localized cable box? Ideally I’d plug the antenna into one box, connect that to my router, and have the signal distributed over Ethernet to each TV. Does such a setup exist?

You can do this on a computer with Plex Pass & a compatible tuner & antenna. Install the Plex app on your TV's & you're good to go.

Would I need internet to access the plex app? I'm trying to find something that will work offline.

Here is a discussion. Apparently, there is something called Jellyfin which works as well.

It sounds like you are looking for a solution like what I have recently installed. A combination of a HDHomerun device & Plex should do what you want.

Look at channels, can selfhost on an old PC. Lot better than plex for live tv
